The SignWriter Newspaper (1981-1984) was written with ink pens and wax transfer sheets, on individual sheets of paper on a drafting board. Then the sheets of handwritten paper were pasted onto cardboard, along with photos and titles. Then the boards were photographed and developed into negatives and then printed onto newspaper-style paper tabloid size. It was usually 20 pages long, quarterly (4 times a year). Attached are some examples. Years later I had the original boards laminated to be sure they did not fall apart with time. You can see the plastic around the rim of each board. That protected the boards. I hope these will someday be in a museum, if someone is interested in SignWriting History, contact me and we can arrange for me to ship them to you if they can be shown to others.
