[Sw-l] Rules or not?

Hello Josenilson!
It is great to read your message. Thank you for writing to the SignWriting List.

Yes, for me at least, I follow Writing Guidelines when writing sign languages.

For example, these two rules or guidelines mean a lot to me personally. I follow these everytime I write:

SignSpelling Rule 1: Write the Position of Contact

SignSpelling Rule 2: Every Sign Has A Center

and it continues for many pages following on the web…

These guidelines can also be found at the end of the 

Lessons in SignWriting Textbook

We had long discussions early in 2022 about guidelines for writing movement arrows and I had planned to write up a report about our decisions that we made together and then I got so busy I didn't get to it. Maybe now is the time to get back into more discussions?

So what specific questions do you have?
