[Sw-l] Could you proofread my ASL signwriting?

The response that the 2/V hand looks more like a K is actually a common reply that I get from new learners. The fingers in that handshape just mean the fingers are spread apart. There aren’t any fingers pointing forward. If that were the case, there would be a horizontal line directed toward the center (if you follow the “ever sign has a center” point I mentioned earlier).

Technically, if I were to follow the idea as you suggested you took the three fingers spread in 6/W to get the two fingers that you have, it would means that you remove the middle finger leaving only the index and ring finger. Also, it is a little odd to me that you would place the index finger in the middle of the hand. :-)

Just for reference, here is the “K” hand. Notice the index finger is point up, and the middle finger is “projected forward” by pointing to the center, which allows for the thumb to rest on the side to form a “K”.
