SignWriting List
March 14, 2022

OK. So to find signs that use one symbol in SignPuddle 2, I go to the dictionary file and I click on “Search by Symbols” button on the left. Then I find the symbol I want to search for…drag it to the SignBox, and then click on Any Match. Then I get rid of any location criteria. and then usually a list of signs appears that use that symbol.

I am preparing the list now…

But here is one I found for the simple position of a kiss-like mouth. Some of these signs do not mean “kiss” at all - they are using that mouth position for other grammar reasons…for example…here is one written by Vanessa - thank you Vanessa!

Some of us had not seen each other for years and it was great to see each other again… and for me the reunion is still ongoing with friends here, and very nice to remember our past and look to the future…
