Hello Uta and everyone -
I am so happy to communicate with you, Uta, here on the SignWriting List. And thank you for your interest in this new idea of a YouTube site that gives contributors a chance to post educational videos in their sign languages. After chatting with Carlos on Facebook Messenger, we discussed the idea of posting in multiple sign languages, for example, in DGS, LIBRAS, ASL and so forth…rather than try the International Sign Language idea, which could be wonderful, but as you say, we would need to find interpreters trained in International Sign Language and also in my small experience years ago when I had more contact with Deaf people in Europe, it seemed at the time that not everyone understood International Sign Language, especially from Asian countries, which may have a different blend of cultural understandings…

So I think giving experts an area just for their own sign languages, will be better in the long run…

I am sorry to hear about www.delegs.de - I will look into it - wonderful work everyone does and I am so impressed with DELEGS - I will reach out to them soon...

So. I am waiting for an appointment this afternoon with a doctor and then after that I am available to teach again and we will find our way together -
