[Sw-l] Six SignWriting Topics, Topic 5, Writing Torso & Body Movement

Two thick lines represent the Shoulder Line and the Hip Line, with the Torso between the two lines. In this attached diagram, the hands are at Hip Level. The two lines are used to show Location at the Hip area. This is taken from an article in the ASL Literature Puddle, about ASL Facial Adverbs. How did I find it? I used the Seach by Symbol feature in SignPuddle to find literature that used that symbol - I found it in the Literature Puddle, not the dictionary… It is usually Literature that uses Torso Movements and Body Symbols
