[Sw-l] Signs for NEIGHBOR and NEIGHBORHOOD

I think this is a very good one to discuss for ASL. Might take me a couple message to get into. ;-)

Before I get into the different signs/variations, I want to make some observations about these spellings. :-)

For NEIGHBOR, just curious why a different palm facing wasn’t used. Just for keeping in the same “plane view”? What about these spellings?
 and 

For NEIGHBORHOOD, I think the person is writing the compound HOME+AREA. If that is the case, then handshape is incorrect and could be written like this:
