➢ Show me the natural semantic metalanguage primes in Pro-tactile American Sign Language with motions described as BVH (Biovision Hierarchy).

OK, BVH gives a hierarchy of actuators and data for each actuator at some fixed time interval.
For example, one set of data could be the rotation of a wrist joint over some time interval at some fixed sample times.

Now all you need to do is describe where the joint position and rotation at the start of the motion, what happens during the motion and where and when that motion is complete. Next, since other elements of the hand may change position during the motion we can deal with other elements of the hand. For instance, in this motion the index finger second joint bends from relaxed to straight to 90 degrees to straight then relaxed during the motion. In other words, the right hand index finger second joint does some pitch animation.

Getting this to work would be a great step forward for accessibility, HAnim, and X3D semantics.

ChatGPT prompt:

Anyone?  I can give general English descriptions of PTASL of each prime in English (or you can retrieve it yourself).

John
