This historic database is based on searching with FSW, Formal SignWriting, invented by Steve Slevinski. Adam has beautifully built a database using the sophisticated searching capabilities of FSW, which will truly change the way sign language databases are built in the future. Many thanks to both Adam and Steve for this remarkable collaboration. I feel honored to make a few tutorial videos to help lay people like myself learn how to search in the new database, and we all welcome everyone’s feedback. We learn from each other’s searches!
