Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

La Bibliothèque municipale de Vevey souhaite mener une action de médiation sur la censure littéraire aux États-Unis, en particulier sur les « book bans » qui touchent de plus en plus les bibliothèques publiques et scolaires.
Dans ce cadre, nous recherchons une liste aussi exhaustive que possible des ouvrages retirés ou contestés (« banned » ou « challenged »). Nous avons consulté les registres de PEN America, mais ceux-ci ne remontent pas au-delà de 2021. Les listes proposées par Marshall University Libraries et l'ALA (America Library Association) existent depuis 2006, mais semblent moins complètes que le recensement annuel de PEN America.

Nous sollicitons donc les membres de Swiss-Lib pour savoir s'ils et elles connaîtraient un recensement plus complet, couvrant une période relativement récente, env. 2022-2025, et qui puisse compléter les données de PEN America. À ce jour, l'index de PEN America reste notre référence principale.

Nous sommes également intéressés par tout travail de recherche (articles, rapports, etc.) récent (en anglais ou en français) traitant de cette problématique des livres interdits.
Si vous avez d'autres pistes, nous sommes également preneurs !
