Die neue KUB Freiburg hat ihre Türen geöffnet

Am Dienstag, 1. September 2026, hat die Kantons- und Universitätsbibliothek Freiburg (KUB) ihre neuen Räumlichkeiten an der Rue Saint-Michel 6 eröffnet. Nach sechs Jahren Bauzeit bringt die Wiedereröffnung zahlreiche Neuerungen mit sich. Freihand zugängliche Bestände, das Café La Parenthèse, ein Ausstellungsraum, ein Musikbereich, 800 Arbeits- und Leseplätze, ein Dachgarten sowie ein vielfältiges Kulturprogramm machen die KUB zu einem Ort der Entdeckung, des Lernens und der Erinnerung. Es liegt nun an Ihnen, ihn zu entdecken.
