Extension of deadline for HLS20

Dear colleagues,

Money for a small number of travel scholarships has recently become
available to help scholars from developing countries attend the 20th
Himalayan Languages Symposium, to be held in Singapore on 16-18 July, 2014.
In view of this, the deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended
to 31 January to permit additional submissions.

Scholars are invited to submit abstracts dealing with any aspect of
linguistics pertaining to research on the languages of the greater
Himalayan region. Abstracts should be written in English using a 12 point
font and have a maximum length of 350 words, including references. Please
upload your abstract via the Easychair webpage using this link:
https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=hls20. You will first need to
register for an Easychair account if you do not already have one. If you
encounter problems with uploading your abstract, kindly contact the
conference organizer at hls20.email at gmail.com to request assistance.
