A Professorship of Language Diversity at La Trobe University is being advertised. This position has come about because of the retirement of Prof. David Bradley. La Trobe has for many years been a place of high quality research in Sino-Tibetan languages.

of Languages and Linguistics (Professor of Language Diversity).
Reporting to the Head of School of Humanities and Social Sciences, you
will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a high
quality learning environment, the delivery of research and teaching
agendas, and providing enhanced academic leadership across the
Department and the School.
Our research in Language, Communication & Culture ranks 'above world
standard' in ERA 2015 with the following languages offered: Chinese,
French, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. Our
Linguistics subjects are ranked in the Top 200 globally by the QS World
University Rankings and 'above world standard' for Linguistics research.
