Dear fellow Northeast Indianists,
The Tenth International Conference of the Northeast Indian Linguistic Society will be held on the campus of Assam University, Silchar, Assam, hosted by the Department of Linguistics.
Save the dates:  January 29-31, 2018
The NEILS Conference is devoted to the study of the languages of Northeast India and neighboring areas of Myanmar, China, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh and West Bengal. Papers for NEILS should have a primary descriptive or historical component, preferably from a functional-typological or anthropological-linguistic perspective. Field reports are welcome.
The call for papers will be circulated in the coming weeks. It will also be made available on the NEILS website: http://sealang.net/neils/ <http://sealang.net/neils/>
