Please join us for the 3rd meeting of Computational Resource for South Asian Languages (CORSAL).  CORSAL III will be held at the University of North Texas on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, 10:00AM-6:00PM. You can also join via ZOOM. What is CORSAL:

The Computational Resource for South Asian languages (CORSAL) is a planned UNT Digital Library collection of language resources for South Asia.  CORSAL aims to support the linguistic and cultural revitalization of indigenous groups by providing access to the highest quality of language documentation:  high fidelity audio and video recordings in portable formats, metadata tailored for language description and pedagogy, transcriptions, and infrastructure for stable and long-term preservation.  The heart of CORSAL's collections will be annotated linguistic data that can be used for a broad variety of research and pedagogical purposes.  Together, researchers, students, native-speaking language documenters, the archiving community, and the UNT digital library have moved CORSAL forward from concept to reality.
