[Tibeto-burman-linguistics] Save the date/place: 2020 Himalayan Languages Symposium

Hello all,



The next edition of HLS will take place from September 2nd through 4th,
2020.



The conference will be held simultaneously at INALCO (Paris, France) and at
the Centre for Linguistics and Cultural Studies, Central Institute of
Technology in Kokrajhar (Assam, India).



Technology permitting, we will videoconference for 4 hours each day (2
general sessions and 1 plenary talk), with the rest of the program being
local.



A first call for papers will be sent out in November. The deadline for
abstracts will be in February.  Notification of acceptance will be in
April.  Upon receipt of notification of acceptance, participants will be
invited to register on a website, and to select the venue at which they
choose to attend the conference.



The special theme for the conference is *reduplication*.  (Other topics
will of course be welcome.)
