Dear Colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to announce availability of two new grammatical descriptions, both completed as PhD theses this year at the University of Sydney:
Rolf Hotz' A Grammar of Tawrã Mishmi is available for download via the University of Sydney Library at: https://ses.library.usyd.edu.au/handle/2123/34036
Agnes Conrad's A Descriptive Grammar of Eastern Minyag is similarly available at: https://ses.library.usyd.edu.au/handle/2123/34113
Each thesis represents the outcome of four years of intensive research, including extended periods of fieldwork (totalling more than 50% of the project durations), and each involved significant community-collaborative and documentation components. In the case of Agnes Conrad's project, this has culminated in a large-scale ELAR deposit, accessible via https://www.elararchive.org/dk06370682. Rolf Hotz collaborated extensively with Tawrã researcher Johakso Manyu in the course of his project, and some of their outcomes may be accessed through the Tawrã Language Resource now available at CoRSAL: https://digital.library.unt.edu/explore/collections/TLR/.
I trust that many listmembers will find these new resources useful!
All best
Mark
