Hyvät ystävät!
Listalla on jo aikaisemmin ilmoitettu syksyllä Komin tasavallassa
järjestettävästä IFUSCOsta. Kyseessä on siis kansainvälinen
fenno-ugristiopiskelijoiden konferenssi, jossa sopii niin tutustua muiden
alan opiskelijoiden esitelmiin kuin esitellä omia tutkimuksiaan.
Konferenssiin ilmoittautumispäivä lähestyy, ja niinpä olisi hyvä alkaa koota
yhteistä ilmoittautumislistaa.
Helsinkiläisten kanssa ilmoittaudumme kootusti sekä hankimme rahoitusta,
mitä varten matkasta kiinnostuneiden olisi ilmoitettava itsensä minulle.
Lisäksi kaikkien halukkaiden kanssa järjestämme yhteislähdön Helsingistä,
joten yhteistä junareissua halajavien olisi myös syytä ilmoittaa minulle,
keitä on lähdössä ja mistä.
Helsingistä Konferenssiin osallistujien on lähetettävä minulle seuraavat
tiedot perjantaihin 25.4. mennessä:
Nimi ja syntymäaika
Yhteystiedot (osoite, sähköpostiosoite, mahd. faksinumero, puhelinnumero)
Passin numero
Yliopisto, tiedekunta ja pääaine
Äidinkieli + muut kielet
Kieli, jolla pitää esitelmän
Ruokavalio
Ilmoittakaa myös, jos yövytte muualla kuin hotellissa. Esitelmien pitäjien
on itse lähetettävä abstraktinsa Komiin toukokuun alkuun mennessä (osoite
viestin lopussa olevissa kutsuissa).
Ilmoittautuminen ei vielä ole sitova, joten kaikki, joita osallistuminen
kiinnostaa, voivat ilmoittautua mukaan tässä vaiheessa. Konferenssin hinta
on 150 euroa, mutta siitä yritetään vielä keskustella.
Itse reissun järjestämistä varten tarvitsen tässä vaiheessa mukaan lähtevien
määrän. Viisumi on muualta kuin Helsingistä lähtevien hankittava itse, mutta
muuten on toki käytännöllisintä järjestää matka yhdessä.

Dear Colleagues!
We are sending you additional information for the participants of IFUSCO to
be held on September 23-27, 2003 in Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, Russia.
Registration fee for foreign participants of the Conference from the
countries of the European Union, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Canada, Japan, USA
is 50 euro, for participants from other countries – 25 euro. For foreign
participants 100 euro is payment for the accomodation, meals, participation
in the social program throughout the Conference. For participants from
Russia participation in the Conference is free of charge.
In the Application for participation you should give the following

Language you are going to speak at your presentation

Rules for abstract submission
There should be not more than 2500 symbols in the text, in RTF format.
Abstracts may be sent by e-mail or in written form, the deadline is May 1,

First Announcement
The Syktyvkar State University, the Ministry for Nationality Affairs of
the Republic of Komi are organizing the International Finno-Ugric Students
Conference (IFUSCO) on 23-27 September, 2003 in Syktyvkar, Komi Republic,
Russia.
Traditionally within the frames of the Conference there are
planned the following sections: linguistics, study of literature,
folkloristics, history, ethnography, culture and arts, problems of
ethno-political development, self-government problems of the indigenous
peoples, regional, including economic development, ecology and the
indigenous peoples health.
The social program will include a trip to a komi village.
Accomodation will be available at hotels of Syktyvkar and the
State University.
A Book of Abstracts will be published by the time of the
Conference. You are invited to send your applications for participation
and your abstracts in WORD regime, rtf, the length to be not more than 1.5
pages, the deadline is April 15, 2003.
The Registration fee for foreign participants will be 200 euro,
for Russian participants the payment of the registration fee will be at
the expense of the organization sending them or at their own expense,
while their stay in Syktyvkar - at the expense of the organising side.
