Dear Johanna!

This announcement may be interesting for the uralist-researchers and
may be worth to put at Ura-list? The reports of the conference touch
upon linguistics and ethnography. We inform samoyedologists but there
may be somebody else interested in this meeting.

 The Russian peoples languages department of the Institute of
linguistic research RAS holds the 2 Samoyedic conference devoted to
100 of N.M.Tereshchenko birthday. The conference will take place at
S-Petersburg at 16-18 of October 2008.
The report (abstract or full version) is to be sent up to the 15 of June.
