Dear all,
if you are interested in present-day Estonian grammar or enjoy
speaking/reading Estonian in general, visit URL:
http://www.postimees.ee/?id=236444
and read an article titled:
Kommentaariumide keel võib hakata muutma grammatikareegleid
The Postimees article tells you about the morphology of the Estonian
partitive plural, or, more exactly, how the norms given in the
authoritative normative dictionary may considerably differ from the
actual forms of the partitive plural used by Estonians.
We are witnessing a rare occasion in which corpus linguistics is
introduced to the general public as something that is both
understandable and useful to them. Enjoy!
Best,

P.S. For your information, Heiki-Jaan Kaalep's article intended for
linguists is found in the latest issue of Keel ja Kirjandus.
