> The Hungarian Studies Association of Canada is extending the deadline for the submission of abstracts for their annual conference to March 1.

> Proposals should include a maximum 300-word abstract and a brief 100-word bio that can be used to introduce the speaker. Proposals should be sent electronically both to the Chair of the Program Committee, Steven Jobbitt (sjobbitt at lakeheadu.ca <mailto:sjobbitt at lakeheadu.ca> ), and to the Vice-President of HSAC, Christopher Adam (christopherpeteradam at gmail.com <mailto:christopherpeteradam at gmail.com>). Proposals are preferred in English or French but will also be accepted in Hungarian if an English language abstract is also provided.
