the issue 17 of Alkukoti is now published.

Alkukoti is the only popular journal about Finno-Ugric languages, peoples
and cultures in the world.

The articles are published in Finnish. If we get good articles in any other
language, they are translated to Finnish.


This issue includes many interesting articles: for example

– the Lutsi language,

– Narva the capital of culture of the Finno-ugric world 2025,

– the news of the Free Nations league (will it be registered in Helsinki?)

– some considerations about what should be done with the congresses of
Finno-Ugric peoples or with the congresses of Finno-Ugric literatures (are
we really giving up on them?).


We are now accepting submissions for issue 18 of Alkukoti!
