MA Mari Saraheimo will defend her PhD dissertation in Finno-Ugric linguistics at the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Arts, on 7 June 2025 starting ag 12:15 PM, Porthania, Room III (P219), Yliopistonkatu 3, Helsinki. The title of the dissertation is Encoding perspectives: temporal, modal and intersubjective functions of Udmurt analytic past tenses.

The opponent is Professor Ksenia Shagal (University of Munich) and the Custos is Docent University lecturer Svetlana Edygarova.
