You must have a copy of a reprint of the first edition. My copy is from
the 1958 reprinting of the second edition. It identifies the first
edition as having been published in 1920. The publisher is still
identified as Brown, Son & Ferguson, Ltd., 52 to 58 Darnley Street,
Glasgow, but there is no longer any mention of the Nautical Press. By
1958 the price had risen to five shillings.
I'm afraid I don't know anything about Wilson, other than that the book
cover associates him with the Bombay Pilot Service.
