Urdu on Macs: MacTeX: Macintosh Tools for LaTeX (fwd)

Here's how (see appended URL below).

But I recommend installing a Yellow Dog Linux partition on the Mac and
running latex in its native linux environment. This is what I do; I also
run Mac OS 9 within Linux, so one can have the best of both worlds. YDL is
extremely easy to install, and is quite cheap.
