Hindi job

Readers of an earlier posting of mine will know that York University (Toronto) has been hoping to offer Hindi for the first time this September.   I am pleased to report that the programme has now been approved, and we are advertising a 3-year full-time position at the Assistant Professor level, to begin July 1.  The deadline for applications is March 31.  The job ad is attached.

One of the requirements  for a new appointment is that we disseminate the ad as widely as possible. Therefore, please feel free to forward this to other lists, to any likely candidate or to any department or institution where interested candidates might be found.   -- When we forward the results of our search to the Dean,  we are required to list all the places the ad has been sent.
