I forgot to footnote "Tanach", one of the Hebrew names for what Christians call
"The Old Testament"
It's an acronym for the three sections:

     T(a) Torah: the Pentateuch, "Five Books of Moses"
     N(a) Nevi'im: the Prophets
     K    Ktuvim: the Writings  (/k/   ->   [x])

Another, somewhat less obscure, name is "the Hebrew Bible". That can still be
quibbled with; but in Torah study there's a LOT of quibbling! And in any other
religion's scholarship, too, I suppose. :-)\
