Indian "Stretchable" Time (IST)

IST=Indian Standard Time
     The slang is:
IST=Indian Stretchable Time.
     This is about as famous as "Delhi belly."  Sorry I left it off.  It
means that your trains and planes won't leave when scheduled.  The oldest
Usenet cite was 1996, but it's much older...I checked out the June 1999
WIRED, and I'm mentioned in Jargon Watch and Rant & Rave (about Amazon
censorship).  I've got a long story about the latter, which just got worse...
