Larry Horn writes, referring to the treatment of "nooky" in HDAS:
"And if anyone's wondering,"nookie/nookey/ nooky/nucky" is origin
unknown."

I would have supposed that it was from "nook", as in "nook and
cranny", alluding to the female organ of generation.  This must have
been considered and rejected?
