"bring it on!" minus the "on"

I haven't heard this, but it seems to me to be part of a broader
pattern of dropping particles from V + Ptcl, e.g.,
  hang out (with X) -> hang (with X)
I thought I had a list of several such, but I can't find it. I'm sure
other list members will be able to supply some.
