slang is mandatory sometimes

Slang is not barbarizing, in my humble opinion.  It's the salt, pepper
(including sometimes cayenne) of communication.  Without slang our language
would be dull as dishwater.  Bring on the barbarisms.



Hooray for barbarisms, right Jonathan?
