Veering off the track:

I was at a Starbucks one day in line behind a mother and a perhaps
6-7 year old boy. She ordered for herself, and then a "not so hot
chocolate" for the boy -- presumably offered by Starbucks to reduce
the risk of burns. When I got to the head of the line, I asked for a
"mediocre latte" -- but they were not amused.
