Used perhaps most recently by John Yates, lately assistant
commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service, characterizing a
statement by Dick Fedorcio, "the police communications director now
being investigated by the Independent Police Complaints
Commission. ... He said Mr. Fedorcio's statement was 'slightly
overegging the pudding.'"
