Children's names in 1860

 From the N.E. Historic Genealogical Society's emailed newsletter,
sampling I suspect from just the one year:

SIERRA NEVADA (usually f): In 1860, six children in the U.S. bore
this [given] name.

The states of birth were, from west to east, California, Utah,
Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio (2).  Their ages in 1860 ranged from 1 to 7.

(Some '49ers must have returned home rich.)
