I was at the eyeglasses shop today, and the salesperson mentioned sunwear. I don't see this in my Mac dictionary, or on Wiktionary or the OED. Google gives it 2.7 million raw hits.

Although it's easy enough to find "sunwear" as referring to clothing for wearing in the sun, the word seems to be used mainly for sunglasses.

One citation I see in Google Books is 1964.
