"hus" ("husband"), not in OED

"Come, come, hus, let's make an effort."

_Old Farmer's Almanack_, "Farmer's Calendar", April 1812. In
Kittredge, The Old Farmer and His Almanack_ (1904; 1920 ed. in GBooks), p. 273.

The OED has a "hus" under "husband", sense 1, a1240, but my
comprehension of English begins, haltingly, in the 17th century. I
suspect the a1240 instance does not mean "husband".
