Back in January Bill Mullins sent a message to the list stating that
the transcriptions (but not the scans) of Early English Books Online
were accessible, i.e., no longer behind a paywall. That was excellent
news, and I immediately found two useful transcripts.

Today I searched for the pamphlet described below and found a match,
but the text was not accessible. Looking more carefully I noticed that
the pamphlet was part of the second phase of the EEBO project. Thus,
it appears that the transcriptions from the first phase are freely
accessible, but the transcriptions from the second phase are still
behind a paywall at this time.
