Bona fide ['BOE-nuh fied] = certified (rhyme plus semantic assimilation ala
The Borg). Kinda oxymoronic, since bona fide originally has to do with
accepting a man's word "in good faith" [доверяй ... (trust!)], whereas
certified/verified/testified have to do with getting proof  [но проверяй
(but verify!)]. (A man is presumed innocent, until the DNA test comes back.
