[Ads-l] A DARE Farewell celebration

That's good to hear, but maintaining a website like DARE's isn't a one-person project. It requires some form of staff and funding. Is there funding to keep it going? I'm talking about just keeping the software current, never mind the substantive updates.

The print versions are great, but the accessibility and searchablility of the website is really useful.

The shifts and changes in language are unending. Words are invented or rediscovered; others fade from use. New information emerges all the time about the origins and earliest examples of words. So, Goebel intends to keep updating the dictionary’s online version after his retirement. And DARE will live on in libraries and the web.
