seahorse in Pendau (Sulawesi)

Dear interested friends,

One of my special interests is in fish names (as a linguist).  I have
collected two fish names for seahorse in Pendau (of the Tomini-tolitoli
language group in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia).

1) pompombadi  'Hippocampus sp.'

2) ajaran dagat (a new synoym of <pompombadi>--as this is literally 'horse
sea', transparentally from Indonesian 'kuda laut')
