Subject:shidd heelak

I've heard shidd 7eelak used to mean "go for it," "pull yourself
together," and so forth. Apparently, yishidd (in Levantine, at any rate)
gets used in other contructions with similar meaning. So shidd baraghiik
"tighten your [own] screws!" can be said to someone who, for example is
being rambling or incoherent: spit it out, man!
