Said Faiq is Associate Professor of Translation Studies at the American
University of Sharjah, where he is Chair of the Department of English &
Translation Studies and Director of the Graduate program in Translation
& Interpreting.  Prior to this, he taught at the School of Languages,
Salford University, UK.  He has published widely on (Arabic) translation
and cultural studies.
