ahlan!

i´d like to know what is the way to express the
'lemma' (following Sinclair´s terminology) in arabic.

in english lingusitics (and other latin script
languages')it is a convention to express the lemma in
capital letters. so, the lemma SING would account for
sing, sings, sang, song, etc...but since there´s no
distinction for capital letters in arabic i wonder how
it is specified.

would it be enough to use the radicals? i.e.: ktb
would account for kataba, yaktub, maktab, makatib
etc...because, in that case, the arabic lemma would
cover much more info than, for instance, the english
one.
