anyway at the bottom of the picker page there are a couple of very  
contentful links to Urdu specific stuff if you hunt hard enough.
I arrived at this link w/ two clicks of the mouse:

The following link can be arrived at with only one click, but then  
you need to hunt for Urdu and/or Pakistan.  http://www.alanwood.net/

There are some very handsome Nastaleeq and Naskhi fonts that fully  
support Urdu in Unicode.
