Subject:Request for Participation in Survey on Teaching Heritage Languages

Dear colleague,

At the National Heritage Resource Center at the University of California, Los
Angeles (UCLA), we are collecting information on teaching heritage languages
in the U.S, Arabic is my part in the project. The goal for this project is to
establish a website that benefit the educational as well as the research
community by providing: a) information on teaching heritage languages in the
U.S., b) resources for material, experiences, training workshops, articles, C)
an online sharing and communication space to bridge the gap between theoretical
and pedagogical implications of teaching languages for heritage learners, and
D) ultimately to address heritage learners' needs to insure a successful
experience in learning and maintaining their heritage language.

If you are an Arabic instructor at college/university level, would you please
do me a huge favor and fill out this project survey. It won't take more than
10 minutes of your time and your time and contribution is greatly appreciated.
