Subject:Funding for K-12 Teachers to attend Northwest Conference

Dear colleagues,

The National Capital Language Resource Center (NCLRC) is pleased to support
your professional development by providing limited funding to K-12 Arabic
teachers who wish to attend the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of
Foreign Languages (NECTFL).

NECTFL offers world-class professional development, including sessions in
every block that focus on teaching Arabic, teacher networking events,
hands-on workshop and teaching lab, and other events to help you and your
students. For more information: http://www.nectfl.org .

The conference will take place March 7-10, 2013 in Baltimore, MD. Note that
the deadline for conference registration is *Friday, February 15, 2013*.

To apply for support, please follow this link: http://bit.ly/X5A16d . To
register for the conference:http://www.nectfl.org/conference-registration .

This funding is supported by a generous grant from Qatar Foundation
International. The NCLRC QFI Teachers Council Advisory Committee will
review funding requests and respond as quickly as possible. Priority will
be given to K-12 Arabic classroom teachers in the DC/VA/MD area.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this opportunity. We
look forward to receiving your applications!

Anup Mahajan
