Subject:updated online courses, financial aid and day camps

Blended learning is enabling students who once had no access to make
impressive progress in learning Arabic, as is evident from some of our success
stories <http://nmelrc.org/campaww>.

We are pleased to announce that three of the four semesters of BYU
Independent Study's online high school Arabic
courses<http://nmelrc.org/how-register-arabic-without-walls-0>,
updated for use with the third edition of the *Al-Kitaab* textbook series,
are now available with the fourth soon to follow. Likewise our first
semester university-level course
(101)<http://nmelrc.org/how-register-arabic-without-walls-0> is
now available online with 102 well on its way to completion. These courses
make use of a Conversation Café that gives students the opportunity to
speak with other students and teaching assistants to practice what they are
learning. And we are in the process of adding suggestions from our Project
Perseverance research to help parents assist their children in becoming
more effective learners.

We still have aid available for financially challenged high school
students<http://nmelrc.org/scholarship-studying-arabic-online>.
And we are looking to do more one-day camps <http://nmelrc.org/campaww> around
the country. Spread the word, please.

 Many thanks!

 Kirk
