Dear Ines,

Most of what I know has been published does not focus specifically on
the BCP, but rather discusses it in the context of broader political
discourse on specific topics, such as immigration or educational
policy; examples of this kind of work are:

* Hart, C. (2005). Analysing political discourse: Toward a cognitive
approach. Critical Discourse Studies, 2(2), 189-195.
doi:10.1080/17405900500283706
* KhosraviNik, M. (2010). The representation of refugees, asylum
seekers and immigrants in British newspapers: A critical discourse
analysis. Journal of Language and Politics, 9(1), 1-28.
doi:10.1075/jlp.9.1.01kho
* Weltman, D. (2003). The Pragmatics of Peremptory Assertion: An
Ideological Analysis of the Use of the Word 'Just' in Local
Politicians' Denials of Politics. Discourse & Society, 14(3), 349-373.
doi:10.1177/09579265030143005

That said, there are works exploring specifically the discourse of the
BCP and some of its key figures. It's not my field of specialism, but
I know at least of the following:

* Flowerdew, J. (1997). The Discourse of Colonial Withdrawal: A Case
Study in the Creation of Mythic Discourse. Discourse & Society, 8(4),
453-477. doi:10.1177/0957926597008004002

Party in the United Kingdom. In II Students' Conference on Linguistics
(pp. 79-94). Presented at the II Students' Conference on Linguistics,

of Thatcherism. Discourse & Society, 7(2), 209-241.

* Phillips, Louse. (1998). Hegemony and Political Discourse: The
Lasting Impact of Thatcherism. Sociology, 32(4), 847-867.

Hope this helps,
