limiting in analysis

Hi all,
This is a simple question, but for some reason I'm having a hard time
making it work. I am trying to do an involved freq (counting codes on
dependent tiers), but want to limit the analysis to a 4 minute segment
in the middle of the transcript. Is this a gem issue?
