Dear Diane,

I'm in Hamburg right now, so I can't run down the hall and check out all
the details with Leonid, but the basic answer here is straightforward.
First, I'm happy you found MOR and POST not that hard to use. Second, you
can run MLU directly from the %mor line. thing to remember about running
MLU on the %mor line is that you need to specify delimiters.

Here is a sample passage from the beginning of eve15.cha:

*COL:	yep # that's everything .
%mor:	co|yep pro:dem|that~v|be&3S pro:indef|everything .
*CHI:	that fine .
%mor:	pro:dem|that n|fine .
*COL:	yes # that's fine .
%mor:	co|yes pro:dem|that~v|be&3S n|fine .
*CHI:	xxx going home . [+ bch]
%mor:	v|go-PROG n|home . [+ bch]
*MOT:	who's going home ?
%mor:	pro:wh|who~v|be&3S v|go-PROG n|home ?

If you run this through MLU without a +t option you get MLU in words, if
you run MLU +t%mor eveshort.cha you get MLU in morphemes. That's all
there is to it.

I could comment further on your method of using FREQ to compute the
denominator, but first why don't you give this a try and see if it might
not be what you really wanted.
